Loving the Snow / myLot

We got 7 inches of snow here in southern Ky and my horses are loving it! They have been running around the fields kicking it up. I had to go break the ice on the pond for them yesterday.They got a drink and were so happy they decided to have another run.

We've had snow for some time now, so every morning my horse runs out in the field and rolls around in the snow. He does it when I take off his blankets and lets him run on the riding grounds too, his fur gets much nicer afterwards.

Wow. That's awesome. Wish I could see that. When it snowed here all the stables got locked up and the horses were keep inside. Of course it was only about an inch of snow so I doubt they would have found it nearly as much fun as your horses did.

well..my friend's dog loves snow too.she sit in the middle of the yard,looking at the sky ,and she against us to move the snow awa so lovely,, horse is very clever ,so i think maybe they know how to get rid of the ice^_^
