Article Income Announcement

United States

Just got an email from them stating that they are giving themselves an overhaul with new management, etc. OK, change is always good and maybe they will finally upgrade me to Silver status (which has been overdue for several months now). I'm reading on and not only are they temporarily closing to new members but will only accept duplicate content for a limited time and from there will only accept unique content. Management stated that many were taking unfair advantage of the old system which pays by Google Adsense but ... there is a "cure". In a partnership with best BestArticleSpinner.com (they have a lot of oDesk jobs that pay pennies), you can buy this service to help with articles. Since I'm switching gears from general articles to more business and marketing materials (I'm a Bus.Admin major), they can do what they want but it seems like trying to get blood from a penny - and succeeding!

Is Article Income the name of the website? Not sure which content mill you are addressing. I do know Article spinner is one site I won't ever submit an article too. It is site from which articles are very easily plagiarized. I suggest looking into sites like Demand Studios where you get a flat rate per article or AC, Helium or places where at least you own the rights. You are right to drop them and look elsewhere for good writing sites.

It is articleincome.com. I already have a few things on eHow (Demand Studios),never cared for helium and not far from a "7" on Assoc. Content. So I'm aware of owning the rights to literary works. For me, it's just that the pennies add up but since I joined oDesk last year, it's like my old residuals are better than what some of the clients are paying. And I want to put word out to as many people as possible to not go for the okey-doke.

Perhaps, the best idea if you want to keep the rights and still make some money is to build your own blog. Just a suggestion though. You are right about realizing that your articles and writing skills are worth more then those cheap offers.

You did not say what web site you were referring to so I can't chime in on this discussion. I would love to talk about this with you, but need to know what web site you are referring to. Thanks

Thanks, Scheng I didn't want to say it. :)) Would you believe shortly after my last post here, I got an email from Article Income managment with "Its the last day" in the subject title?I read the email and its a stupid sales pitch for that ArticleSpinner.com saying that if I act now, I can get 50% off of services. I'm sure outside of the U.S., being paid a net of $1 for writing a 400-500 word article may be a blessing but I'll be glad when this passes. Guess this is how print writers feel about us web writers. :(
