Do we really know about the appendix?

Do you really know about the appendix? Appendix disease is very common disease. Actually we all have appendix in our body,Its located between the junction of small intestine and large intestine. And the average size of appendix is 10cm. When it's become more larger then it then we feel pain in our abdomen. And have an operation. We cut the appendix. Do you think there will be problem with other organ without appendix in your body?
No there will be no problem.

Hi dreamnishu,
This is a really perplexed problem. In my opinion, it's function is not very important to us or we are not really sure of it's function. But if it becomes acute and serious appendicitis, we have to operate and cut it. And we would have no problem or less problem without it. And even in some doctor's viewpoint, appendix is the remain in which human has not well evolution. how about your opnion?
