Skipping the Rose Ceremony next week

At the end of the show last night, they teased there would be no rose ceremony. Chris Harrison confirmed it on his Bachelor blog. I am guessing the skipped rose ceremony MIGHT be a way to drag out the show. After all, Jake's been dropping girls left and right and there have only been 5 episodes. I usually don't believe in set-ups, but this skipped rose ceremony could very well be a set up meant to drag out the show a few more episodes. What do you think the reason is? And who do you think shows up to throw Jake off balance next week?
