I do celebrate Valentine's Day and I get my wife flowers and a card. I believe the jewelry stores, flower shops, candy shops, and card makers all got together and came up with this day. They make tons of money off people buying for others and this is one of the most profitable days for box chocolates, flowers, as well as greeting cards. This is just my .02 cents though

An edible bouquet of flowers?!!
DAMN I want one! D:
I like getting flowers, but they're just there to look nice and I'm not even one of those who swoon over the smell (they smell like leaves to me), but I looove food and sweets. Edible flowers would be like, the most awesome gift evar for me D:

LOL, I would also like that, but I can't imagine myself having that millions of money, I might suffer with insomnia, can't figure out how to spend money.lol An edible flowers, wow! I would also love that, women love flowers. So all men out there they should never fail to give flowers to their partner this coming valentines day, anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy the rest of the weekends!

try to think of the hobbies or some favorites of your loved ones. it's better if the gifts are related to their likes and wants. they will appreciate that better. you don't need expensive ones. being simple and personalized will do the tricks.

Oh yeah, personalized gifts of card could be great, but I'm not that artistic and I haven't done making any personalize gift before as I don't have that much idea, better to buy one. But you know If I were given a choice I would want to receive a kind of gift that's not being bought but rather made by my partner. Well anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy the rest of the weekends!

Hi Careguarden,
Since february 14th falls on sunday--we will start our celebration solemnly by hearing mass with the kids. then we can proceed for a lunch together and do our gorcery shopping (our regular weekly activities with the kids). then i'll just wait for my honeypie to invite me for a dinner or any surprises on that day. for the meantime i will prepare something for him. cook his favorite dish and focus my attention to him. just be there by his side, hold his hands, kiss him on the check then his lips and hug him so tight. finally whisper on his ear--iloveyou honey...happy hearts day!
