Should Teams Be Allowed To Alter Their Uniforms?

Hi MyLot, I'd like your opinion on something. In the sport of NASCAR, if a race team alters the car to give themselves an unfair advantage, they are penalized points. I am reading an autobiography from a former NFL player who, among other things, admitted that his team would wear their jerseys so tight and pull up their sleeves so that their opponents had little or no chance of tackling or at least slowing down these players. (I'm not going to mention the team here so as not to ruffle any feathers). In my opinion, I agree with NASCAR, any alterations should not be allowed and should be penalized. I think NFL players should rely on skill not on tight fabric. How do you feel about this?
