is it normal to have a few split ends? i have a co-worker who is very conscious with her hair and its split ends. i told her not to mind them since they are hardly noticeable. she would get the scissors and trim her hair by herself everytime she notice that she have a number of split ends. what advice can i give her?

Your friend should avoid combing her hair when they are wet.
She should trim her hair once in every six weeks. She can opt for some haircut for stylish look.
She should cover her hair with a cap or a chic stole to prevent sun damage .Sun exposure also causes split ends.
Drinking plenty of water and fresh fruit juice also prevents hair damage.
Avoid too much blowdrying .
Use hair friendly accessories .
Dove Intense Damage Therapy Shampoo with Repairing Serum is also worth trying.

Splits ends is also a problem for me. I cut the tip of my hair once in three months to remove split ends and it works well, but after one month I again get split heads. There are some shampoos that say work well with split heads and treat them, but I am not sure.
