I had two such factors that brought a positive change in my life. The first was when i was studying in a science college after passing my Matriculation. I had passed the first Year and was in the 2nd Year.when the final exams came which were board exams i took a drop as iwas unprepared and instead appeared after 6 months when the re-exam was due. Halfway through the exam i fell ill and was diagonised with Typhoid and was unable to complete it. This was a great blow as i would have to waste a full year. A close friend suggested why not try Architecture. since it was something totally different from what i had planned i had doubts but gave it a try and this proved to be the best choice as i was very successful during my future course. the 2nd instance was after a bad period of 10 years when i was working i got a chance to work in a big consultancy firm which i had been avoiding since i had got bad reports about it and its chairman. However someone asked me to give it a shot and i applied for the job. to my great surprise i was selected and found that it was the wisest thing i had done. Not only did i do very well but even the chairman and owner of the company was very kind and also selected me to work in their overseas office in a Gulf country. My life changed for the better after that. Did you, my friends also haveany such experience in your life that made things better or worse for you? Please share.

The main turning point that I can pin point in my life was the first time that I received an email from the man that is now my husband. I'd just gotten out of a very bad relationship with someone else that was from that same city. I wasn't going to respond to that email. However, after a few days I decided that I was going to respond to hom and talk with him. Well, the rest is history, I knew the first time that I talked to him on the phone I knew that we would eventually be married and the rest is history.

Marriages, it is said, are made in heaven. Your 1st marriage did not work out, that was your destiny but eventually you found the right person in your 2nd husband.Everything in our life is planned for us. Your connection with your 1sr husband was temporary from some past life but permanent with your present husband again thru a connection from a past life.Your 1st husband will no more figure in future lives but you will have connections with your current husband in future lives as well.

The first defining moment in my life was the decision to pack up, leave everything and move to another country. The decision was not made by me but by my parents and if you knew them you would be so surprised that they would ever make such a drastic move like come from Italy to Australia. My parents are the type of people who rarely go out let alone make a new start in a new country where everything is completely different including the language! I love Australia and I thank God every day that I live here! The other defining moment happened to me on the day I found out that I was finally pregnant after almost six years of trying to conceive. That day everything changed and my faith was renewed because at last all my prayers had been answered!

Yes, many times the unexpected brings good fortune in our lives. You gotta thank your parents for that since they were the conservative type and their decision made a great impact in your life. Having a baby is one of the most wonderful gifts God has given us humans .No wonder your life became golden when you conceived after a long time.thanks for your comment.

Hi yes it happened to me when I was in my 7th std.. there was a very close friend of mine who joined me in the school when we were 2nd std.. when we came to 7th std we fought for some silly reason and we left speaking to each other and we both were like rivals and we had very good competon on everything then on.. and when we came to 9th std there was dhasara holidays and for some silly reason again we both got some challenge on learning computers and then we joined different computer institutes to learn more on computer science.. she discontinued after learning basics.. but here I got turning point to my life.. I got very much interested to learn new programing languages and computer science became my major subject and now I am a software engineer..

If I were to pick one thing, it probably would have been when I chose to move away from my home state and start fresh. I was also looking for a career change which led me to go back to being a student and do a six month course. So being in a new state and being a student again opened my eyes to so much in such a short period of time, that my life was altered forever. Being a student in tourism at that time allowed me to travel over to the USA to work in a ski resort for their winter and from there I travelled right across the USA and on to the United Kingdom and China. Without going interstate and going back to school I never would have had the opportunity to do this amazing six moth trip overseas! This was just one defining thing that has changed my life, there are others too!
