Last night I was sitting in bed working with my laptop..
just me and the dog...
I suddenly noticed a movement at the window...
This small face smushed against the glass...
looking at me.....eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkk
My sweet boy(cat) Dozer...
My room is at the back of the house so I didn't hear him
scratch at the door.
Do your pets let you know what they want?

The ones I have now would not do it. One of my cats about twenty years ago climbed up on to the porch roof so he could look in the bedroom window and meow at me until I came outside and rescued him. Smart kitty.

That is so cute! My cat Alfred paws at the glass sliding door if he wants to come in. Also my pug Betty-Sue scratches at it too if she wants to get in. It's funny because she doesn't continually do it, she'll scratch a few times then stop and wait. Kind of how a person knocks at the door. She looks up at me with her big bug eyes saying 'what are ya doing? Let me in!'

one of our cats love sleeping with us on the bed.sometimes she would sleep at my bed, sometimes with my brother's bed.she will sleep quietly and soundly.she would pretty much leave me alone while I sleep.when she wants to go out of the room, she will walk all over you until you wake up.it's like "wake up and opne the door now".

yes, my pets let me know. My cat who is outside the house, he will push the door when he wants to enter. If there is no one responded on him, he will jump on the window and show his face on us, that is the only time we will open the door for him. Sometimes he will come to me and cry and he will go to somewhere inside our house and when he got my attention I will follow him and know what he really means. Sometimes he will go besides a pail, it means he needs water. Sometimes he will go on the plate meaning he is hungry. Since he was with us for so many years, we came to understand all he is saying. he always let us know what he wants.

Oh yeah, Harmony lets me know when she wants out. Then when she wants back in, she knocks at the front window (or scratches the screen on the back door).

Hi, raydene.. You got me on that one!
I thought that there was actually a peeping Tom in the form of a human being. I know that your cat gave you quite a scare.
About two years ago, I was sitting in my front living room and I saw a dark and black shadow that was standing to my front window. I could not make out what or who it was. It was scary looking and it just stood there. I could tell that it was peering through my window. My next door neighbors was outside, him and his son.. They were playing basketball. I don't know whom that was looking through my window and all. It was very scary. Until this day I don't know what they was peering through my window. It did not look like cat or an bird. It was a much bigger figure. I am glad that it was your cat that was watching you and not something else more frightening.
