Elevators can be dangerous?

We all know that elevators are considered one off the safest form of transportation however they can pose a real danger for the aging population. I have seen many times when people are running on the floor to catch the elevator and end up with slipping and missed. They get injured sometimes because of last minute run to catch the lift. I have not witnessed any incident when someone got stuck in the elevator because of electricity or some other issue and had to suffer a lot. Did you have any bad experience with the elevators or know someone who had suffered from this?

I haven't seen an elevator induced injury. I've seen plenty of people have a fit after missing the elevator though. They get so upset because the person inside, wouldn't hold the door for them. It's so funny because they will just lose their minds over something like that. I'm surprised they never hurt them selves when stomping around and trowing their hands up in the air.
