"AVATAR" The Last Air Bender -- Disappointing

It is sad to say that I am disappointed about the new avatar movie releasing in May. You go see the trailers in youtube and tell me what you think. Type in the latest Avatar trailer. The characters doesn't even match the original characters in the animation. Why don't they just match up a good character. They are going to destroy the AVATAR just like in DRAGON BALL movie. I don't mind the effects they are great but the feel of the characters I can't relate them. Do you think its worth seeing in the movies? No for because I will just wait for an upload in net rather than see this in the theater.

I dont think it would be a disappoitment, but i dont think it would match the show. The show is in my opinion the best show nickelodeon has brought in this century. Matching something like that would be hard. I dont understand why the made some weird change choosing the characters, but i dont think that would represent a real problem(it would be weird, but if its well done i made bear it). Well i would definetely see this movie in theathers, cause im a big fan of Avatar, i dont expect to be a as awesome as the show, but at least i hope they made a decent job.

Well I hope they don't screw the show because I'm also a fan of the Avatar "The Last Air bender" cartoon and I might consider watching it in theater. Quality is what I want in the film and I've seen many movies getting cheaper by the year. What I mean is that it isn't in good quality, that the actors where unknown, they don't have a proper dialogue, has a monotonous ending, even new animated movies are getting cheap.

I saw this trialer and thought it looked interesting, got to admit I know nothing about the cartoon. I can see your fear in the movies though, because BragonBall was horrible in almost unbelieveable fashion and they ruined the characters.

Funny I would come across this thread LOL becuase not 15 mins ago my kids and I were just saying we wanted to see it cause it looked good LOL..MIND YOU my kids are teens so they dont watch the cartoon and of course neither do I so whether or not its accurate to the show is irrelivent to us ya know..

My kids will want to see this, so I will point them toward the trailer...
