finally a pretty day!

So far we've had a blizzard and an ice storm here! It's pretty much snowed at least one day each week! Today it's going to be warm and I am heading outside! I want to catch a good run! So.. what would you do if you've been stuck inside for what seems like forever??

I have been in all week. It is difficult to get my son around in his wheelchair. Let alone very messy. I have to go out today, although it is still going to be messy, but I will have family at home to help with him. He is going stir crazy also.

I don't take my son out (he's in a wheelchair as well) when the weather is unpleasant. I will probably begin to take him out more in the spring. Hopefully, he will begin to help with transfers and start moving better on his own too and that will help me some!

I have kept my son home from school all week. I am guessing they are probably going to yell about it soon, but we have to take him about a half a block to get him on the bus and the walkways are awful. He still has Monday and Tues. off because there is no school, I am hoping he gets back on Wed.

I'd probably jump for joy...run outside...and thank GOD, that I can actually see my hands in front of my face for a change.

Now that is for sure. Especially after all the snow we've had.. even the fog lately! yuck! Glad to be getting outside. I am supposed to go to my brother's house I am hoping for a good game of football!

I know the feeling. We have had so much snow lately that I am so sick of it, but I am happy to finally have a day where it is not snowing or all that cold. The sun is shining and its nice enough that i don't need a coat, but I wear one still I don't want to get sick.

It has not been a pretty day here lately it has either been raining, cold, snowing, I just wish we could have a pretty sunny day soon!! I want to go outside and take a walk but it is cold some patches of ice the snow is melting finally it started yesterday It was beautiful! We are not used to that kind of weather here in Texas. I can still see some snow outside but it is melting quickly in some parts. I see the neighbors roof from my window here where I am sitting and the roof is covered in snow so is their yard and most of it has melted off our front yard.

It is all melting here and slushy as well. It was so sunny when I woke up this morning and within the last hour it looks like it is going to rain or something it just got really dark all of the sudden and it is 10:30 a.m. here. I am hoping for a nice sunny day soon!

I tried running in the slush! It was just pretty much nasty! I think most of our snow is gone now, except for some of the piles that were plowed over to the side of parking lots and such!
