Hi friends , I have some doubts which i hope some of you might be able to clarify. First of all regarding the Br given - can we change it after clicking .Suppose you realise that you had made a mistake in selecting the discussion and you wanmt to change it can one do it? I think not, but if someone knows better plz do let me know.. The next doubt that I have is regarding the grading of a discussion and if I am not mistaken that's how we get our stars? Is there any means of knowing if my discussion has got a positive response that is + votes or - votes and who has given what ? this is just out of curiosity ...

I guess both are no no kala....but it would be really nice to know how many positive votes ou get for your discussion and how many negatives, just for your knowledge.I also wish that we have an edit button here for discussions and elsewhere...I make so many mistakes

To answer your first question about the best response. Once you give it, you can't change your mind. That is why it is so important not to give it immediately so as to give others a chance to respond. Mylot says to wait at least a week. I will wait much longer than that, sometimes months, before I give it. The second one about the star is when you rate someone positive or you get a positive rating, that will help your rating, but it does take quite a few for that to happen. Mine goes up and down like a bouncing rubber ball. I don't worry about it to much though, as I am here to have fun and enjoy myself, as that is what mylot is all about anyway. When it comes to ratings, I will rate positve, and only rate negative for rude and obnoxious people and then I report them. Othere than that, positives is what I use to rate others. We are all trying to have good ratings here, so I want to help them out. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

kiran8, if the response was really only a couple/few words and qualifies as a "meaningless response" according to the guidelines then please report it and I'll delete it. After I delete it you'll be able to choose a more appropriate best response. Here's the guideline: Don't: Start meaningless discussions or give meaningless responses to try and boost your rating. Discussions like “What’s your age” will be deleted as well as short responses like “ok” or “no”.

Hi Alice, thank you so much for your response.I guess this time I will just leave it alone and be careful the next time.I understand that one has to be responsible while starting discussions so that they serve a purpose...All the best and have a nice day
