Hi everybody. Another myLotter posted this video on Facebook and it is the cutest thing. Not kitten cute - just behavior cute. I thought it was the perfect video to share with my cat loving friends here.
I watched this with the sound off so I didn't disturb my daughter who is sleeping, so I don't know if she totally explains how this began, but my guess is that the cat observed her over time to decide that her decision to leap and perch would be successful.

That cat was pretty confident she wouldn't fall off, wasn't she?
I've often wondered when our cats watch us get undressed if they're amazed that we can remove our "fur" and put different "fur" back on. How about you?
My Siamese used to love being on my mother's back. For some reason, she'd read the newspaper on her hands and knees on the living room floor and Simon would jump on her back as soon as she was in position. Once there, he'd go to sleep. Have you had a cat who did something very unique unlike anyone else's cat (you think)?

Mmmmm..wonder where you got that shared video from at Facebook?
Yes I thought it was soooo funny. Thank goodness my two cats don't think of doing that, but they do dominate my bed. I'm a stomach sleeper and my one cat Pyewacket loves to sprawl himself over my back....I don't dare move otherwise would get real nasty looks from him.....oh how our kitties have us trained...right?

PS--what she says in the beginning is that "no one believed me....so I recorded It"-apparently she told her friends of her cats behavior and no one believed her--thus the video

I had a cat who didn't always have the sense God gave a twig who'd wait until I was on the toilet, fully disrobed before bathing, to jump on my shoulders. Needless to say, I looked like a tiger across my shoulders regularly!! Stripes!!! He never jumped up when I was dressed or sitting anywhere else - just when I was nekkid on the throne. God, I loved that cat!! My Russell (aka Rusky Usky).

My cat Precious hates it when I get in the closet. Though I think he thinks that's the "fur" room. Because when I get my under cloths out he knows I'm about to leave the apartment for an extended length of t time which he does not approve of, ex: going to do laundry.
Though I had or George and I had a cat who used to get on his back when he was huntched over brushing his teeth or something. Cat had no front claws, so if he slipped, then the back claws were his only protection. Not good for George, or the cat.

Moomin used to be able to open the fridge door and raid the contents of the fridge. The expression of innocence when caught was always priceless but that cat is crafty enough not to get caught on camera.
I love watching other peoples cats though, they are all such wonderful characters

Chloe hasn't figured out how to open the fridge, but she opens kitchen cabinets and drawers when she's not getting her way. I'm glad she hasn't figured out that the fridge door works the same way or Tiki would be the one climbing inside after Chloe opened the door!

Hey jerz! That was just too cute for words! What an adorable
cat! I did have a cat that would also jump on back! She was
kind of crazy too! My cat Star is sitting on my lap right now!
I am trying to type this response and he has his face leaning
on my right arm while I am trying to type! He just doesn't get
it that he is making it more difficult for me! So, I usually
have to pick him up, turn him around so he isn't lying on my
arm while I'm typing! It really is amazing the things that they
decide to do just to be close to us!

My Russell used to love being in my lap (when I had one), but he was my klutz. If I was scratching his ear, he'd stretch and twist and eventually fall off my lap! LOL Tinker, who I had at the same time, would lie on the sofa behind me and watch over my shoulder at whatever I was doing. Chloe, who I have now, would stand up and pull my desk chair backwards if I wasn't paying attention to her when she wanted to hang over my shoulder when I was at the computer. The chair tilted back without the feet tipping and she could reach the top of it, curl her toes over it and pull. How could I ignore that???

Hey, girl! I saw that you were up to your old habits of being up in the middle of the night! Saw your response and new discussion. I know you'll be glued to the tube this weekend!!
Yes, as you probably know by now, our very own Pye posted this on FB, so I took the liberty of "borrowing" it for here. It was cute even without sound. Although, I'm not sure I'd want to be brushing my teeth with a cat azz in my face! LOL

my darling Screamer up on top of my head while I do my daily hygiene, etc...
she's mad since I moved here I can't leave the bathroom door open as my hot
steamy shower would set the stupid fire alarm off...morons have it installed
right outside the damn door...DUH!!!!!
she always liked to jump into the tub while I showered the ninny!! LOL!

My mother's cat will do that. She can't bend over the slightest with out feeling feet on her back. Of course at 16 pounds, Simbah is a bit of a 'back full'.
