Question: Difference between the Dr. Phil Show and Maury

Do you think there is a difference between the Dr. Phil Show and Maury? Or do you think that they're just the same: exploiting people's problems for entertainment (and money's) sake? My Answer: I think Dr. Phil's show actually is pretty informative. To a Psychology graduate like me, it's really helpful to see the shows. It helps me see methods of intervention, as well, as gives me tips on how to set boundaries with people. I think I like Dr. Phil's style of setting the boundaries with his guests. He is not condescending, but when they cross the line, he does show them the door. I see his sincerity, and I think he has a great heart. He may have his haters, but I'm not one of them. Maury, on the other hand, seems to me like a tabloid splashed on TV. Watching his shows really makes me feel dirty, actually. :( So, how about you? What do you think about either show?
