Hello Candyfairy21, this is a very interesting topic. I am already donating 10% of what i make to charities but if I wanted to contribute more then just money to the cause I would host free seminars that are focused on getting people involved and improving there learning ability. Or I would start an organization that concentrates on each person one on and one and helps them with there different needs and to focus on key factors in life like there health and holding a job.

hi candyfairy well I guess I am a bit different in that I do not look at people who are unemployed and immediately think oh she or he needs to be taught how to take an interview or how to grow a work ethic, I look at unemployed people and realize that here but for the grace of God go I, and find out just what they are capable of, then help them to get jobs commensurate w ith their job experience. now take my son who has been without a job for a year, he does not need training in interviews etc he worked for years as a c omputer programmer what he needs now is a job, pure and simple. I am not for dogooding and such but for taking people from where they are now and getting them back into the work force in the niches where they really do belong. So that is what I would do, find the right jobs for the right people, call it social poverty or just call it being laid off work. They already have the social skills, they just need the jobs with paychecks so they can rent apartments and go on with their lives.,

Hi Hatley, thanks for sharing your views on this matter. However the people in the community here are really marginalized people. they lack education some are not able to finish grade school, some are high school graduate. One of the problem that we have here is that the workforce here is competitive. To get a sales lady job even requires that you are a college grad for some companies and some at least 2 years in college. if you are a high school grad most available job is being a service crew in restaurants or being a janitor. The most degrading jobs and most underpaid jobs are done by the grassroots level of the society. The income is meager. In my country the salaries are not high even for those who are holding white collared jobs. There is just a few percentage of employees who enjoys higher salaries compared to the rest of the work force. This is why I am asking for suggestions on how people in this social bracket could be helped, so they could have better living conditions and live better lives so we can have a better community where crime rates are zero to low and poverty is is eradicated if not kept at a minimum.
