Do you wake up in the morning and greet your parents a good morning? Or even kiss them goodbye going to work/school? Or Say you are sorry for the certain thing you did wrong? Or talk about how was their work?
Well I do.
This is one way of acknowledging your parents as if they exist. We can't stress it sometimes if we also get angry with our parents if they did wrong but they are family and they support as each day as we grew. Well depending on the situation though.
Some people don't do one example is my friends family. They have issues in their family and they don't even talk to each other. They only do signals and just answer yes or no. That wouldn't sound much for a family. If you really love your parents then acknowledge them as human being.

I cannot imagine living as your friend does! When my mother is staying with me we say good morning and at bedtime we hug. Who knows if we will wake up the next day? I call her every week and I see my father regularly, too.
Life is too short to let issues get in the way of your family relationships.

when i was staying with my parents and family , i wish all of them , a very good morning, before i run off to school or later to work.some days i did not as they left before me, so i leave endearing notes for them. till today, i still love to leave notes of thanks and appreciation wherever i go. but you know the first person i greet when i get up first thing in the morning is my Father God for He has blessed the day for each of us. if i have done anything untowards to any family members or friends, i really mean sorry when i say that and i try not to do that again and i ask to be forgiven. i like to keep my accounts short at the end of the day. before i turn in for the night, i wish everyone a good nite and sleep tight. i pray to God to forgive me and give Him praise before i say good nite to Him too.

I call my parents on the phone sometimes. My husband and I used to and are going to move back in with his parents, but even so I talk to his parents more then mine own. We do acknowledge each other, saying hello and asking questions, such as how was their day. It's a healthy relationship when you can do that!

Yes, I do wish them a very good morning and bod them good night at the end of the day, I fall on their feet if I have anything important work that day! I bid them farewell if I am off somewhere! I think they are an integral part of my life because without them, I would not have been here!
