I have been writing about all the Carry on with my moving, with Gissi being so sick, me being sick and the Stress that is really getting to me
Well, I have a wonderful Friend, who is going through so much more then me, who is not well at all with the emotional and physical Stress she is going through right now, my Problems are nothing compared to this Sweet Friends Problems
Her Furbaby is dying of Cancer, he only has about 2 months left to live and I know what she is going through there which no doubt others can feel for her to, also her Grandmother is dying, she has so much to deal with
I know our Fur Babies only stay with us for so long but it is still heart breaking, I have lost 5 Dogs in my Life, and believe me it seems it gets harder to let them go each time
So please everybody keep my Friend, who I love dearly, in your thoughts, send her strength and Love
I will not say her Name as she is a Member here and I really wish I was much closer to her as I would put everything on hold to be with her but I can only send her my love and Strength through the Internet and I really hope she feels it
To make this a Discussion
Do you sometimes feel selfish because there is a Friend who is going through a lot worse then you???

I never take my own problems seriously enough...............lol
I now the friend you mean Gabs, and she knows my thoughts, prayers and love are with her. I have a candle lit for her and send her positive energy every day.
I so feel for her and her furbaby and her gran. Sometimes life just sucks you know, but we have to keep our heads up, our hearts open and our love flowing. It's the only way to get through sometimes......Thanks for reminding me.

One of my favorite sayings is, "Cheer up, it can only get worse...", which usually gets a smile out of the person I say it to.
No matter how bad we have it, there's always somebody who has it worse. Good luck and best wishes to you both.

both you and Gissi and also your dear friend and her furbaby are in my thoughts. I have had a lot of problems and troubles in my life, and both me and my son both had cancer. BUT we are both here to tell the tale, plus we had excellent hospital treatment. There are always people worse off than ourselves,so like all the other Mylotters, I am sending strength and positive thoughts to you all xx

this is so ironic, but sadly I had to have one of my 3 remaining cats put to sleep last week. When i posted the above comment, and i had been told that one of my cats had been diagnosed with liver cancer and she would be gone in less that 3 weeks from that posting, i would have laughed with total disbelief. But my darling tux has now gone. She is out of her pain and gone over the rainbow bridge with all my other dearly loved pets. love to all who are mourning their pets xx

No I do not think I (or anyone else) should feel that they are being selfish! I feel the pain they feel, I have compassion for them because I DO understand what they are going through. How could anyone feel they are being selfish just because it is not happening in their own life at this time. In my lifetime I have loved and lost 11 dogs and 7 cats and it never gets easier. I just think of they joy they have brought me. I should also include 2 birds(budgies), 2 hamsters and assorted white mice which saddened me but never the pain suffered at the lost of one of my beloved dogs or cats. So again never feel selfish!
My compassion goes out to your friend at this sad and painful time of her life.

Yes Gaby, because you are one of those friends. I have often wished that I lived closer to you so that I could give you my support both with your own problems, and Gissi's. You have been to hell and back - and got through it all, but I would have liked to have been able to physically help you.
I have another friend here who is going through a lot at the moment; we live a long way from each other, but we drove down to see her last week (a 4 hour drive, and we took Poppy of course), and stayed with her for a few days. She said our visit meant a lot to her, and it lifted her spirits; when we left she said she felt more positive and more able to deal with things.

Hi Gabs,
This is so destressing for her and when she told me I just sat and cried, she is such a loving lady and its not fair that all this is happening, but we just have to pray and send her healing so she can at least cope, also sending all the healing and love to her grandmother and he furbaby, love and hugs.

I know what it can feel like...You get wrapped up in your own problems and you don’t consider that someone else may be going through worse until you come across that person and you realise it. It’s normal to be like that, we all do it, but writing a discussion like this one shows that you are a caring person and you have reminded us all to consider that no matter what we may be going through there are others with problems as well. I will say a prayer for your friend and I hope she feels better soon, it is not an easy thing to go through to lose a beloved friend furry or not and a loved one...

Now we each have own individual problems and who decides if theirs is worse than ours?
I know you have Gissi who is ill and so are you and your friend is in her own crisis, but we find strength to deal with all these problems.
Whether you believe in the power of prayer or sending energies, we all cope and let time take its toll.
Just love your freind by note or talk and we all on mylot will be sending our stregths to her and you too.
God bless.

HMM? I sent out a discussion on my friend who had a biop done and it came back negative! The dr call her a mystery woman :)
All is well here today. I get to go to a baseball game of my oldest grandson, Derek today at 3:30 !!!
I just hope the weather holds. It's supposed to start raining and then freeze and I have to take hubby to the VA tomorrow so it's not going to be a fun trip.
Anyway, got to get moving. Many things to do before the game.
hugs,
quita

I have recently been wallowing in self-pity, mainly due to a dreadful financial position and health issues combined with the stress of organising a wedding. However, I heard from a friend who is in a pretty bad state too and it made be feel awful that I hadn't been in touch with her sooner. Yes, now I do feel bad that I was so busy feeling sorry for myself.

Hi gabs, I will keep your friend in my thoughts and I couldn't agree more about feeling selfish. I too have friends who are having a much harder time than I've ever had. It's always best to be grateful for life no matter what it brings. Blessings.
