Case against Sonny

Sonny's trial is just about to begin and already there's some craziness going on which we all knew was going to happen, I just never thought it would be on the other side of the court room. I don't know why, but I think there's more to this prosecuter than what meets the eye for Sonny's trial. The directors/producers/writers made sure that we saw how ruthless and determined she is to convict Sonny and I'm just wondering am I the only one who thinks there is more behind this new character- that she has a personal agenda of some sort- or am I reading too much into the character.

I dont' care about this storyline as we all know Sonny will get off scott-free. A trial will ensue and all the goings on with that and at the end, Michael will confess and get off with probation based on self defense or soemthing like that and have to go to anger management classes or something. but neither will go to jail.
New prosecutor? Jax's call on that one. Dont' know why he'd be so up-and-at-um to continue to get Sonny in jail as carly won't go back to him if he does that, but at the same time, he isn't stupid and does want to stay with carly, so that is the only thing I will be watching.
