Just saw this touching video and I thought it will be good to share this with all pet lovers here.
But do be warned that though the storyline is both touching and inspirational, there are scenes inside that is gross and graphically unpleasant. So, don't watch it whilst you are having a meal.
Diesel, an abused and badly wounded dog was found in an industrial park. His extensive wounds stretched from the neck all the way to the back, and were so bad that it was oozing pus and infested with maggots.
On top of his foul smelled seeping raw wounds, he reeked kerosene. Yes, some idiots actually doused him with kerosene to kill the maggots. Yet, the volunteers at Noah's Ark, an animal home shelter and protection group did not give up their attempts to catch him and bring him to a vet for treatment.
When I saw the pictures of the wounds, any vet would have put him to sleep but I am glad that the group here did not do so. The dog actually recovered from his wounds through surgery and treatments. Now, look how cute he is?
Presently, he is being adopted by a couple and he is really adapting and having a ball of his time.
So, I hope that more pets like Diesel will be given a chance to live and not be put to sleep without granting them this chance.
Life is precious! Cherish it and especially your domestic pets!

That is so incredibly sad to see that he was abused the way that he was. I'm glad that Noah's Arc didn't give up on him. This shows that there are people in this world that do still believe in helping all living creatures. More than anything in the world, yes this is a sad story to start with, but it is also very inspiring to learn that they did make the effort to save Diesel's life and that there was a family out there that made him a member of their family.

My exact sentiments, dorannmwin.
I am just glad that the volunteers at Noah Arc did not adopt the conventional approach towards Diesel and just looking at his cute and lively look just testify their right decision.
I hope that more strays would be treated this way and that we do not forget that we need to give them a chance, too.
Have a nice day.
