Has anyone heard about this site yet? Recently, I've been seeing and reading quite a bit about this website.
I had never heard of it up until a few days ago but apparently it was created last year sometime.
But basically the site is a video and text-based chatting site. I think you have to have a webcam though to actually use it to start off. Apparently there's a lot of controversy surrounding the site.
And from the stuff I have seen about it on Youtube where people who have used it have recorded videos while using it, I'm kind of not surprised when it comes to kids using it. Though I have seen some videos that have made me laugh so much (which I've needed lately).
I was just wondering though. Has anyone actually used Chat Roulette yet?

hi there! no i have never heard about this site, ever. do ou how long its been around or at least when weas the first time you heard about this site? is it meant to for general public or just for adults? thank for sharing and have a wonderful day!

As far as I know, Chat Roulette was created back in 2009. I'm not sure of a specific date or month though but I think it was sometime late last year the site was created. The first time *I* heard of it was actually just about two or three weeks ago in early March.
The site says you have to be at least 16 to use the site but I have seen a few people on there obviously younger than that. Unfortunately there are quite a few perverted people on the site.

I haven't heard of it, but it does sound like an interesting concept. I don't have a web cam nor do I plan on buying one in the future. If my laptop so-happens to have one, then, and only then would I consider something like that, but as it stands I don't really care to much for video chat or anything like that.
