let's admit it that we are tend to discriminate people whether unconsciously or consciously. when they are quite different we tend to pull back. the show ugly betty has taught me valuable lessons about people. the packaging may not be pleasant but the what is inside the package could be valuable. or that the packaging maybe beautiful but what's inside is rotten. the beauty in betty is not her outer appearance but her sweet spirit. a responsible daughter, a loving sister, a true friend these are just a few attributes that makes betty beautiful.

A lot of people have learto judge one another based on their appearance, socia standing or other things and thats just not good. I agree with what you said that people may look different on the outside but the inside is what matters. I have a hard time saying anyone is ugly or anything like that because people are all beautiful in their own different way.

Never judge a book by its cover and I do agree a lot with this say.
However let's admit it first impressions count a lot in today's
society. If you have a good product but a disastrous wrappings
(advert campaign, product wrappings etc) your product is most likely
destined to fail. I know that humans are not objects and they
should not be treated so. But we tend to judge people by the
way they look, they dress, they talk....

I have learned never to judge on first appearances, or by making a judgment on someone purely on the way they look.
