LOL yes many times over...and IMO in order to be a good parent you NEED to scold them when they do things they know better than to do..Whether its scolding them for biting or hitting when they are little or grounding them when they are older for breaking a rule etc...I would find it VERY hard to raise my kids properly WITHOUT ever scolding them to be honest wiht you

but, i think it's not ggod way to scold children. different ways of my father and my mother to tell what's wrong when i was young. my mom never scold me but my father has high temp so he always scold me. but i'm more obey my mom, but when my father give me advise, i was always rebelling. more effective my mother way i think

At home we have this "maximum tolerance." We do our best to speak with our children and let them understand what they did is wrong. The only time that we are going to scold them is if they did something serious and grave.

hi,nop,i can tell with proud that i never scold them and now they are studying 10+2 and 10th class in hostels.Few days back my elder daughter asked me that most of her friend's father/mother had beaten them, may be in different situation..and "why you have not beaten us,Daddy'...then i told, scolding is not the only solution to change any children,so with few good words also,we can change them into right path..like that i told.
Have a nice time.
