Jewelry...fine or chunky

Jewelry...fine or chunky - When it comes to necklaces. Fine gets lost on my frame.

Do you prefer fine jewelery that is subtle in elegant grace? Or do you prefer the loud, proud, in your face clunky, chunky, can't miss it pieces that no one can miss? * I am one of the latter when it comes to necklaces. Fine gets lost on my frame. * You?

i seldom wear jewelries, a wrist watch is already enough for me though i only wear jewelries if theres a party or if i need to attend a specially occasion. i really dont want to wear them out as im not comfortable wearing them and sometimes its risky as we cant tell other people mind specially those whose in need of money.

I wear a ring, a watch, sometimes and then mostly earrings. Nothing very expensive or valuable, though.

I have always worn pieces that were a little on the larger size, as I always considered it more appropriate to my size. Even when I was thin I was never really little and petite. I wear very little jewelry now, except earrings and watches, mostly. I want a BIG watch, so I can see it well. My earrings tend to be kind of medium sized. Once in awhile I will wear a necklace or pin, but really earrings are my favorite in the world of jewelry.

Some of the more complex looking danglies can be made of light weigh metal. My son has made me some out of aluminum links and with swarovski crystals at the bottom. Neat looking.

Sounds like it! And the crystals sparkle like diamonds.

I am full figured so I look best in chunky jewelry. However, it must be light on my earlobes so earrings are sometimes hard to find. I've found that long, dangling 'fish hook' earrings look best, they don't disappear nor do they weigh my lobes down.

I'm pretty small (fat but short) but I prefer small pieces of jewelry

Small but contrasting pieces of jewelry can stand out almost as well as chunky too. Fine white pearls on a black dress for example, or reverse the color with black beads...

Being a male,I'd like the size of jewelery should commensurate to the figure of wearer. And a small jewelery worn at the correct place looks more attractive than wearing long and big jewelery.

That makes sense. Full figured women wearing fine jewelery; the jewelery gets lost. Petite women get lost in chunky jewelry.
