Being invited by the former employer...

Dear myLotters, I am a BPO employee here in Pune India. I used to work with a small BPO before this and trust me, our entire dept. was the most neglected dept of all. We were called to work as per requirement. That means, if 30 guys were required then only 30 were allowed to come to work and the rest 50 would sit idle at home. We were not paid for those idle days too... That seems natural... No work, no pay! Frankly speaking, I was tired of it all. I would get to work only for 15-18 days every month. That would affect my earnings... So I decided to change the company... I applied at another BPO, which is bigger, better and has a regular job for me. I got selected with them and resigned at my former company last week... Just now, I came online and found an e-mail from my former employer offering me a regular job, wherein I can work for the whole month... Now, I am not sure, what should I do? Should I go back where I am known very well...? Or should I continue with the new company for a few years, and get a lot of experience? What do you think? What would be your advice to me about it? Please let me know, what you think... Thank you!

if your previous employer just offer you a month of work then why leave your other work if they can offer you a work for years. actually its already a privilege but at least tell them that you already have work that have a better offer. if its me then i will forget about the offer and just concentrate on my new job s i know i can sty their for long.

If I were you, I would find it hard to put my trust in my former employer again. So I'll definitely turn down the offer. But you're the one who knows about the people and the situation there more than I do. So it's your decision. I know it's a tough one. Just bear in mind the pros and cons of leaving or going back.

There is no tangible reason why you should get back to your old employers. If they are offering better terms then you should consider else stick to your new job and get some experience.

Thank you.. The offers are almost similar at the new office and by the old office...
