Hi there friends, I'd like to ask you guys :), do you say Mass during sunday regularly? Does it matter to you if were not able to say Mass? spiritually what do you think saying sunday Mass helps in you daily life..?
hmmm for me, I always find time to fay mass every sunday, we have a regular sunday praise as a choir..we have different choir schedule..in the event if I am very busy and I have a trip, I still find time to say Mass. for Me it feels so good to give time atleast an hour for our divine providence..
how about you??

Hello dorothy,
I guess this is the main reason why am so worried about this election period, I haven't been attending mass for quite a while since I've completed the Night Mass last year. i don't why i lost my divine obligation to simply just spend an hour with God every once a week. probably i should visit this weekend, it's all that i need.

I was away from the church for 15 years no reason. Just a teenager and back then I had what I thought were more important things to do. I went back in 2001. The great thing about Church and God is you can always come home again. Once you get back in the habit you will find that you are looking forward to going. We all drift now and then. We are human and all sinners. God will forgive you he knows your heart and that is what matters.

hi there LetranKnight, ohhzz might be your busy compaining for Gordon heheh Lol joking... you find time you will find peace of mind once and for all.
@snoopyfan, hi there snoopyfan agree with you that God knows our heart and it matters, but dont you you know this is the reason of lazy people.. this is already a general alibi :), still even if we have the good heart but still sunday mass is a committment and obligation. just for that reason we cant spend an hour for him.
A mass is a highest form of Prayer.. I've been blessed with great family , friends and peaceful life, amidst all the trials we encounter we still hook up to him and lift up everything to him..

Yeah my friend we have also church services. In my part I would be uneasy if I could render my church obligation. I guess, we have different belief. I was like you before, a choir, a priest assistant, and yet after a lot of years searching for the real and acceptable services(to God), based on what the Bible said, I finally found it. If you want to know what religious I am in right now..you can PM me...
Thanks...

hi there mobhomeir, no thanks, I have great faith with the most high. For me religion is not important as long as you have the good deeds and faith of in GOd of course..No religion or any religious congregation can save you..
and w believe in one God but we have different ways on how we express our thanks, praise and faith to the most high..
thanks for the response..

Don't you know that Satan also has great faith in our God?
Yes, you're right NO religion can save everyone but, there's a religion that would be save comes Christ second coming...
Think this sincerely and seriously my friend, if God would permit your statement that having different faith with our most High are acceptable to Him why He sent His only son (Christ)here on earth to save those people who only believe in Him (Christ).
Don't you remember the verse on this? (I also forgot)...
He came to earth to build His own Church, not churches...of course a church that bears His name...
Check it my friend before it would be too late..I was like you before but now thanks to the truth that was revealed to me....
Thanks..

Every catholic should spare an hour to attend sunday mass. I was brought up in a convent where attendance of mass is compulsory. I have brought up that habit till now to attend mass every Sunday.

hello dorothy,
yes we do! i feel like my week is not complete if i was not able to attend our church worship services.
it brings a different feeling whenever i am in the church doing my duty to our God. it brings inner peace and happiness to me.
attending worship services for me is like feeding my soul...coz this is the time we are receiving the words of God which are the foods for our soul...

hi there ckyera, well said we have to feed our sould thru attending Mass as a sign also that we are so thankful for the blessings we have receive.
Every sunday when I have an appointment, I make sure I already attended an early mass . If there are times really that I cant say mass on sunday, I will light a candle on the following day monday..
agree it brings a different feeling whenever we have rendered atleast an hour service for the most high..we have so much time to do other things and he is just asking an hour us..
thanks for the response and happy mylotting..
see you around mylot.

Hi Dorothy,
WE always try our best (me and my family) not to miss any sunday mass. but there are some instances where we cna't make it and honestly we feel bad failing to attend one during sundays. sometimes we do anticipated mass during saturdays. our week is great and blessed when we started it with his blessings!

hi there msfrancisco, agree with you , it is good to live another week with blessings. My parents always told me that its only 1 hour and we cant give that to him. a 1 hour to thank all the blessings that we have received.
but there are times when I cant really say mass on sunday, atleast by monday I would go to the church to light a candle. For me I am blessed if I fullfilled my obligation to the most high.
thanks for the response and happy mylotting..

we also light candles as a family. we always offer candles to ask for enlightenment and guidance. at the same time we too ask for more blessings that we can live life and touch others lives the way God wants us to be.

Good for you that you always find time to say your sunday mass unfortunately on my side its impossible for me to say even two sunday mass in one month because I find it useless when I will go there and cannot concentrate on the mass itself due to my toddler who is running around I am still adjusting to the situation to find time to hear mass alone.

I am a catholic and I try to participate in the Sunday mass unless that I am sick.
I think it is a break from my daily life and trying to connect with God. Listening to his world and try to be a better christian. It helps me in my daily life.

I do have alot of friends who are into your religion, but some of them do not go for masses too.. Besides, it's not a compulsory thing for them, according to them.. haha =D
When i ask those whom go, they say they are just there to pass time, mingle around, and havhe free food, ogling at gals, after which, get some dates, and off they go for the afternoon!! lol =D

Hi dorothy09, I got to lay the premise here that I am a devout Catholic. And so are my daughters. We see to it that our Sunday obligation is always fulfilled. That is the 3rd commandment. Our God specifically ordered us to keep the Sabbath day for Him, just one day out of seven. Last Sunday though, my two girls had two different school activities that led them out of town and into some remote places. It was just physically impossible to get to church. Yet when they came home, they expressed their worries about having mortal sins. And they need to get to confession right away. It was the 2nd time in their young lives that they missed mass. The first one was when they were in a competition in far flung province, too. But God said we must keep holy His day. So we must!

hi there eileenleyva, I also grow up with my parents who always remind me to say mass evey sunday, when I have a sunday activity my father always asked me to say an early mass before going to somewhere. For us it is an obligation and it is a way of thanking the LOrd for all the blessings we have received.
Thanks for the response and happy sunday

no, i don't dorothy. but i go to mass on sundays. i can't simply say mass, i am not a priest and only priests are allowed to say mass. but as a catholic, i am not only obliged to attend mass, i believe i need the time for my faith.

Attending sunday mass was one of the law of God, in fact it was written in the fourth of the ten commandments. Now if you break that law meaning you are breaking the law and it is written also in the bible that when you break one of the ten commandments, you break all of this. When you missed one sunday mass you break all ten if in a month you did not attend mass you are breaking the law forty times...what dou you think?

For me the following week is not okay if or I dont feel well and in the mood if I have not receive any blessings during sundays.
happy sunday and have a great day..

I do enjoy going to Sunday Mass there are times when I couldn't make it when I am sick then I stay home. I do feel bad when I miss Mass. I have two sisters and they don't go to church. My one sister said why go to church on a beautiful day. My answer was why can't you give God one hour of your time and you can still enjoy the day. I like to go to the youth mass in the evening. Our teen choir is out of this world and the music is really upbeat. It is very enjoyable going to that Mass and being with God. When I had a different job and I was able to I would also go to Daily Mass in the morning. It was a great way to start the day.
