How does your cat feel about baths?

If you have a cat, do you ever give it a bath? How well did it go? Who was wetter - you or the cat? Tell us something about it.

Cute photo lol. Luckily, I've only ever had to bathe my two cats when they were kittens (they found it fun rolling in their litter box LOL). Anyways, they were really good in the bathtub and when they were done I wrapped them up in towels and we layed infront of the fireplace...they looked like soaked rats lol..

Yep, they do look like a mess. But once they dry out, they are so clean. They must love your fireplace. Thanks for your story and comment.

I have two kittens. Yes I try give them bath twice a month. It doesn't go that bad because I try to be gentle. Sometimes I'm afraid that they will bite me out of anger but they don't and I finish their bath with a big smile on my face.

Hey, I'm glad to hear that it goes well. You obviously know your kittens and how to manage them through the process. Thanks for your response.

haha, the cat in the picture looks just like mine on the rare occasions I've had to bathe her. She's a long haired cat and sometimes she gets sick and it gets caught in her fur. She hates going in the water, but luckily for me, she's small enough I can put her in the sink and do it under the tap. She's usually angry at me for several hours afterwards.

You are right. I have also seen where they will carry an attitude after the bath. But once the trauma is over, and they seem to have their fur back in place, then they do seem to be at peace. Really, it is not as bad as they would have us believe.

No fun fighting with a cat at bathtime, especially one with claws. I think it is amazing that kitty is OK with the bath idea. I think that is rather unique. Thanks for picking up my old discussion.
