Family teasing.

I abosolutly loathe when my family tease me about my boyfriend. They'll say I do things that I dont like be all flirty when really Im stuffing my face with tracks on and make these fricking annoying noises when Im on the phone with him. How do I stop this!? Or at least deal with it. Im old enugh now that this is just stupid and immature from my parents and sibling. Does this sttill happen to you?

I didnt like it too. I didnt want them to tease me about my boyfriend. I dont know if the members of your family will ever stop because they never stopped. No matter how I tell them not to do so, they still did. So what I did, I always go with the flow if they started teasing. When they want to tease, I give them more reasons to tease me more. I think it will now depend on how you are going to handle that because they are only the member of your family. I think our families are fon dof doing that. Just to think of ways on how you will be able to take in what they are saying or teasing you about. My family only stopped when my boyfriend became my husband already.

Awe, well thats discouraging. lol. Sorry about your family's teasing all threw your relationships. I think its awfully cheeky for you to give them more reasonbut at least that makes it more fun for you and maybe a bit of a challenge in it. I dont want tohave to marry him for them to stp because Im pretty sure that it would turn for teasing to furious anger coming from everyone. An attack really.

I think the only way for you to make this stop is tell them straight that you hate it and it annoys you so much. This doesn't happen to me because I usually don't talk about my relationships unless me and my partner are already on that so-called "serious stage". Any teasing would be lame then. Anyway I'm sorry for your situation I know how irritating it must be for you.

I tried that ince and they got all defencive. They started going on about how its just a joke and I was the one being the baby. ME!? Yeah, well they made it seem like I was theone being weird and off in the family. Thanks for the help and sympathy. Usually I dont tell my parents and family either when I start dating someone until I really want him and my family to meet because I have strong feelings for him but my sister (who I love and is best friends with and trust with eveything in my life) actidently slipped up and told my mom that I weas going on a date and the qwhole thing just exploded in a family attack. Happy mylotting. :)

Same situation here. And everytime they are teasing me, I just keep ignoring them and sometimes give them a look, I mean a serious look that makes them feel I am so irritated with what they are doing.
