I write online for many sites and have been having some trouble coming up with ideas to write about. One site I write for is ehow and there is in a how to format. So here is my question if you needed to learn how to do something like a subject or whatever what would it be? Would you read an article online to learn how to do it? Let me know thanks.

I write for Triond. I haven't been writing a lot lately and last week I was desperate to add some content since I really need the money (even if it is just pennies). I know that health articles are pretty popular so I looked on the internet for diet relating to illnesses that are relevant to me. I only looked at a couple of websites, enough to get what I needed, wrote the article and submitted it. Within 3 days I had almost 500 views. This article went through the roof. It helps that I connected it to both Facebook and Twitter.
Like one of the other posters said, how-to articles are big draws, along with health. I am more of a creative writer but poems and short stories don't draw a lot of views.

I write for Triond as well but there payment system is rather low. I seem to make a good amount from ehow but in the past few months my earnings have been low. I have put a lot of my attention to school but I need to write some articles today so I thought why not get some ideas from mylot. I think I might have an idea or two but will have to research it first. I had a goal this year to write at least one article a day but that has not happened. Thanks for the feedback and happy mylotting to you.

I write for a couple of websites but not as much as would like to. I usually write about things that interest me personally because we can get our best work from the things that interest us. If we write about things that really don't interest us..I think we lose something. I would suggest some parenting ideas or some ideas for parents going on vacation. I would also write an article about your local school system and some of their rules or something that interests you there. Maybe you could write about style and your children. What's in and what's not. You could write about something that you have been faced with recently from a third person point of view. Hope this helps but remember..you write because you like it and not because you have to.

Hi Mom
I myself use that website all the time, pratically daily. I find it extremely useful. It has answered so many of my questions which are always related to cooking in some way. No matter what I have gone looking for there, I always find it. So for me, its all about cooking and cooking questions on how to do this or that. Great Site..

I do not own the site just write for it. Yeah I like ehow I just cannot seem to think up new article ideas. The mylotter before you mentioned cooking ideas but those do not make that much money but I could write about how I cook things. Anyway thanks for the response.

Yes, I would. In fact, this is what I do most of the time. Oftentimes, the information that I want to find can be found in books. But I certainly won't borrow a book about the subject from the library just to learn how to do something, for example, how to format a Word document. Using a search engine would give me lots of references on how to go about formatting a Word document. That's where the Intenet comes in handy.
