Spitting while walking, who do it mostly - men or women?

Pfft. I spit all the time, and I'm a woman. Hey, I'm single--I don't have a boyfriend to get disgusted at me. Actually, it was my ex-boyfriend who showed me how to properly spit, and I do it all the time now. Disgusting? Maybe. Fun? Definitely.

It is mostly men who have this habit of spitting on roads but not all men spit. generally the workers and laborers and men from villages spit on roads. I rarely find men from middle class families or rich families spitting on the road though there are some exceptions. I have also seen few women spitting on the roads in India.

hi venkataramanan, i am seeing you here after long time,what is happened or you busy with some other work,i agree with your discussion,men only do spitting on the roads and on walls,if you find Hyderabad ,Mumbai,there people are eating pan and spitting on the roads and walls,In Singpore if you spit of road there is find of 50 dollars fine,have a nice day

yes this a bad habit. i have seen men do it mostly and women very rarely. even urination on the streets its men who do it mostly.

I have to agree. It is mostly men and that is a very nasty and disgusting habbit. Wonder how we could get them to stop doing that?? TATA.

I've never seen a woman spit in public. Men? All of the time. I don't know why they don't get it, it's disgusting.

Yes most are men doing this things and I really hate to see this. Even my husband did like that and I told him not to do it again. Too bad for the health of the society as well as not good to see.

I have seen only men doing this all the way.Those people really don't have manners..I have seen many people.We can forgive the small ones but the matured people also does this.Some rules should come for this..But I know it won't come because some people won't accept good things happening to the society...

in my observation,the most who do it are those men,because i always see men spitting on the road and they don't care if someone see them while spitting in the road,i think because men most do this because this is nothing for them when they spit.

It is such a bad habit and can be expected only from men..
