Some queries about Blogging!

Hello buddies... I wish to start my blog on 'myLot'. The participation in various discussions here has improved my English and writing skills. I guess I will good at blogging too... But here are some things that I don't understand!
I am viewing the 'create blog' page now. I might sound stupid here. 
Blog title is understood and so is the avataar. But what do the other 3 options mean?
1. What is 'feed URL'?
2. What is 'viewing URL'?
3. What is meant by 'polling frequency'?
Please let me know... I have some nice ideas, which should be put down, before they vanish off from my brain 
...
