There are times when my mind would seem to stop working. Just like yesterday when I was in the office, it came to me that I was doing the wrong thing when everything was almost done. It felt so bad when I came to realized that what I did was all wrong and I have to redo everything from the top. Did it happen to you too? Like your mind has stopped working and it sucks. How do you handle such situations when you really need your mind to work but it's doing the opposite as if it is totally stuck in some point?

it did happen to me before when i had so many problems to think of. It was such a mess but I tried not to think about my problems and tried to focus on my work. It is very difficult to pretend that you are ok but you're not. When i had so many problems to think of, i remain quiet and passive. I just go to my room and lying on my bed.

Yes, when we are bothered because of problem and we kept on thinking about it then most likely our mind would decide to switch off.

Believe me, that happens to me all of the time. My mind just refuses to work, no matter how hard I try. It is rather hard to get the mind working when it has decided to stop working. Especially considering that when my mind quits working, it does it at the worst possible times. When I have to get the work done, but it just is not going to work. Very frustrating if I may say so myself. It is just important to take a step back. Take a breath and try and relax. Forcing the brain to work when it does not want to work, will just make things worse. Go back to the task after a few moments rest. It will come back to you after a few minutes of rest. Still, its frustrating to need to do something and the brain just does not want to play ball.

Yeah, forcing our brain to work will not help. Instead, it would add up to our misiries and it would result to more problems. So better to take a rest and then relax. And when you go back to work then you will have everything flowing smoothly. Maybe our brains need a break too.

It has happened to me too that suddenly I was completely unable to think. Sometimes our brains are too overcharged with work or things to think of, so it's normal that sometimes they decide to switch off without telling us, but that's really annoying

Very annoying and frustrating at the same time. But we can do nothing when our brain would decide to switch off. I was thinking that it is not actually the brain who's making itself stop but maybe it is our own emtional struggle and stress which are unabling us to think properly.

Of course I have had moments like this and it's really a meanness. One of the reasons might be overloading yourself with lots of information. You know,at moments like this, the best thing is to take a rest.

Yes! and it happend many times. I really don't know why it happened but i'm just thankful that my normal sense came back again. Maybe we should exercise more often and don't forget to exercise our mind as well, by reading perhaps or some other mind enhancing exercises.

Maybe, but I believe that it is our emotional struggles and pressure are the reason why our brain would tend to stop working sometimes. But brain exercises might help too.

Yea, I face such situations from time to time. I usually encounter these situations at school, when I am working hard with my brain and my mind just gets tired. I start to miss some numbers, characters and make mistakes. Sometimes it messes everything up and I get pretty angry at myself.

It happens to me often. Especially when my teacher asks me something so suddenly which I might have not expected, my brain goes lifeless! There are some occasions when we don't want our brains to work. Like when you're with your loved one!
