we know that cats are afraid of water, but their foods is put in the water. But still it does not hunger because of it. so do you think that cats have tricks too just like human to get their foods? Does it have the power of brain just like us?

Cats are pretty smart. My husband made the mistake of leaving the fish tank up one night and we caught one of our cats on the rim "fishing". It would stick its paw in and swipe at the fish whenever it was in reach. Almost caught it a couple of times, too, before we squirted it with the water bottle. xD Our cats also test the temperature of their water before they drink it, too. If it's too warm they'll meow at us to fill it up. They stick the tip of their paw in really quick and then shake it off so they know if it's ok to drink, though I honestly don't know where they got that behavior from since I haven't seen other cats do that before.

Cats are mostly domesticated and the owner sees to it that they get their share of fish. They are actually lazy creatures.

ifa oh they cannot be too Afraid of the water as if they see a fish close to the shore down goes the paw, up comes the fish, and chew and chew and its gone. Cats are really quite smart and clever too.Of course they have brains, and they do use them too. I had a cat that would wake me up every morning to get fed. she would pat my lip with her paw, not her nails, she never scratched me, but she would put that smooth little paw on my lip and stare into my eyes, then purr like a little motorboat.then when I sat up she would wait in the door, and make a meowing sound, like hey I am hungry, hurry up, so the moment I got into the kitchen she was there by the can opener, patiently waiting for her cat food. She was nobody's dummy, but one smart little black cat. Midnight was her name.

well i think it is in cats nature to eat fish God created them that way, they are afraid of water because if you will examine cats they have there own way of cleaning themselves by the use of there tongue and cats also wants to always warm there body and water is giving cold temperature onto them! cats brain is nothing compare to human brain, it doesnt have any trick as you think.

it is just i fell amazing for them. They can grab fishes, but in the other way they can beat their fear by struggling in water. We can take some lessons from there, right?
