MANUAL LABOR-many view it as boring, dirty and undesirable. but i never really imagine myself doing much physical labor. i found it more enjoyable than to play with my computer. exerting yourself in physical work wether by swimming a hammer or mowing a lawn can promote good health. the benefits can go beyond your keeping fit and trim. aside from this, hard work can also affect how you feel about yourself.. it can add to your sense of self-reliance and general confidence. it can helps you to learn patience. manual labor can help you to teach a joy of a simple accomplishment. how bout you? would you like to do a manual labor?

yeah definitely i would love to have a job that involves manual labor than sitting in front of the computer. i don't lie any kind of job where i will be subject to sit in a chair for hours every day. i would want to do something that involves some body movement not necessarily strenuous jobs. anything that will keep my body moving and not just be stuck in one place. i don't like being stuck in one place. i actually love jobs that will require me to travel a lot with in the city so that i will do lots of walking while going from one bus to another. than just stay in one kind of office. i love walking around and able to stand a lot and walk a lot that sit for long hours. it is more enjoyable actually and more relaxing to the mind. i find myself enjoying my day and appreciates my earnings more no matter how small my earnings on that kind of work or job. and also i feel that it is more healthy to do those kind of jobs. staying in front of the computer puts lots of stress in our eyes. and so it kinda affected my eye vision a lot lately as i do lots of online earnings lately.

I have regular joggings and exercise (though not that much now because I'm pregnant). I also do gardening and take charge in cleaning our own bedroom and bathroom inside. My househelp tells me she admires me for personally attending to my children's needs (I have two kids). I prepare the older one for school everyday and make sure I keep a personal touch to his studies (he is a consistent first honor, mind you!) and watch over my 3-year daughter while I'm home. The househelp takes charge when both me and my husband are at work. I also do the cooking for their lunch before I go to work and takes them out during my restday. I personally get satisfaction when I show my kids and hubby I can still do manual labor at home even if I already have an 8-hour job. This keeps us all from being lazy in any way and maintains our body fitness. Yes, it adds to one's self-reliance and it's a good thing to show to the kids since they only follow what they see in us, adults. :)

good for you. if we do our house-hold chores let it be seen by our kids. if he want to help why not. because kids are to curious what we are going to do and they want it to do the same as they see us. at first for them its is a way of playing, they enjoyed it so much, until they saw they make accomplishment and this were become a challenge to them.. good for your that you teach your children for this kind of work.

good for you my friend. you are independent to your work. your not depending other people's help. do manual labor can test us our ability of and capability to do things which is impossible to do.. after all many trials and long patience to our work, we see the complete development into it.. good job my friend..

I actually don't mind doing manual labor even though it can be tough and hard work. It's nice to get up and do things for a change instead of sitting in front of a computer or TV or just lazing around. Even the simplest things, like planting a flower garden can be fun and relaxing. One of the fondest memories I have was when my siblings and I got to help my parents renovate this old store our landlord bought. We'd go with them on the weekends and help around and it was really fun. We actually found some really neat things, like old coins dating back to the 30s, old Coca Cola posters and various other things. The project took a while but everyone was proud of the end product, me included.

to fix some thing and arrange it in a proper way is a simple way of manual labor. even it is too easy but if you see the result you have your own satisfaction and even in a simple way but most important is you enjoy doing it.

i think there are two kind of labour physical labour mental labour. and both are needed for body in combination. but we generally become habitual of only mental labour and due to this we are not able to be physically strong enough. i think there is a need for us to prefer physical labour.

exerting yourself in physical work whether by swinging a hammer or moving a lawn can promote good health. cooking, cleaning the bathroom and sanitary, arranging and fix thing, these are the skills that both young men and women do well to know, skills that can help you to live successfully on your own one day. hard work can also affect how you feel about yourself. learning physical tasks can add to your sense of self-reliance and self confidence..

I would have to agree with you about manual labor, sometimes we need to exert our own efforts to do a job, it helps us keep our body healthy and active most of the time.Together with that our mental capacity is at work too. Making us much more alert and promotes well being. It wont hurt to use our body for different kinds of physical work from time to time so that we wont be to reliant from technology as well. Have a great day!

I am used to manual labor even when I was a child because we were taught to work hard so that if we have our own family we could support them without our parent's assistance. And I'm glad I was taught that way, Besides when you do manual labor and you sweat you would feel good, you will feel strong and envigorated.
