Six small meals a day for weight reduction ?

I was told by my family doctor that i should reduce weight by 10 kgs. For reducing the weight i must eat six small meals in a day instead of eating big meals 3 times. I am caloric conscious so i will eat only two times a day. Still i put on a weight. To reduce your weight what you will do? Is anybody tried to reduce their weight and how please share with me.

Well, i feel i am wrong person here as i am trying to gain weight. I was advised to take small meals 4-6 times a day to gain weight. Becoz i eat less and so i can get my balanced food and quantity amount in small meals. So is that true for my case?

I like eating meat very much . I do not eat meat for a long time .my weight will reduce. if I am depressed for some day and I will lose weight. I can become fatter soon and lose weight soon .

To lose weight, I'll do regular exercise. This way, you don't only lose weight, you also improve your body resistance. You get firmer muscles and healthier skin. This is also very good for the heart. But of course you don't just plunge yourself into hours of extreme exercise if you haven't done it before. You'll have to begin with light exercises for short periods of time or only that which your body can take without exhausting yourself that much. Then gradually increase the number of hours and do heavier steps. A year ago, when I got depressed because two of my best friends were transferred to 2 other branches of our company, I don't know why but everybody noticed I suddenly gained weight. Maybe because I always felt sad I kept on eating chocolates on a regular basis since it made me feel better although I also don't know why. :) So I started exercising for 30 mins a day, then an hour a day until it reached about 2-3 hours per day. It started from a simple inhale-exhale and jumping jack and before I stopped ('coz I got pregnant), I was already dancing daily and able to finish one CD of lively music as my regular exercise. It also served as stress-reliever and made me feel relaxed. :)

Hi, thanks for your valuable response. Yeah if you are pregnant you must not do exercise but you can go for a walk. Yes dancing also good if you take little precautions.
