as far as I know .
Digital television (DTV)is the transmission of audio and video by discrete (digital) signals,in contrast to the analog signals used by analog TV. It is gradually replacing analog TV, and has done so in several industrialized nations , including the United States and Germany.

yea i already heard the news that Digital TV is already starting in the US this year and here in the Philippines they told us that it will start in 2015
