I was out walking by the lake today. It's a glorious day. Second day in a row where it was crystal clear and I could see the Sierra Nevada in all its snowcapped glory. And I was happy. And I just thought, life may be crap - medical problems, relationship problems, money problems, kid problems - but it's good. And I want to live it. There has to be a turning point and it comes when you least expect it. Looks like yours is just around the corner especially if you give it a push and are willing to accept and take the lift that it gives you - and spring is here too.

Hello, Dawn - that's great. You can do it, because you can always find the beauty in things - however crap they may be. It sounds like you're on the way out of the bad times, and I'm so happy for you. You deserve to be happy and fulfilled, and I'm sure you will be soon.

i know just what you mean! just when you think you are down and out, you find that thing that keeps you going. it could be walking by the lake, or hearing your baby girl laughing at her older brother in the back room, or the dog greeting you at the dog like you are the next coming of Christ!!! and it all makes it worth getting up and trying one more time to get it right. life is what you make it, and you have every single day to make it something better then the day before! thanks for reminding everyone of that Dawn

,there are lot of problem,but in my view money will solve fifty percent of the problems,if desires are increasing the troubles also increasing,so try to live simple without attachments and sentiments,maintain sentiments when they require,have a nice day

You know Dawn, I really admire the honesty in you all. In India, if the money situation is likely to get worse, the woman would adjust. :( Partly of course because the alimony awarded here is simply not much, and her share in her parental property is already given to her as dowry, so it would come to a zero. Some stay back because of children. They wouldnt like children to be questioned and not find suitable match. The concerns are different, so you all can be more honest about any relationship. Here many marriages are sham. :( But dont worry. Capri's are destined to fare better financially from 2012 June! All your financial worries would start disappearing from that period. Think you can pull through?

If you ask me, my post teen years had been horrific and especially when I juxtapose those days with my blissful childhood, the contrast hits me hard. Now, I am much better and living life by my own terms. I have realised that life is how we take it and happiness is how we live the hurdles. Practically, I have tried and tested this and really little magic moments make living worthwhile. Life still has a lot of heartbreaking things but now I have learned to live those.

Hi, dawnald. I agree with you so much. Even though life has been rough for me, there is still sunshine at the end of the day. I have enjoyed watching this video. It made me feel so much better. These were the good old days, where everyone was happy and so much in love. Judy Garland reminds me of Dorothy from The Wizard Of Oz. Is this her? She looks like her a whole lot too.

sadly life seems to be all about change any more dear. i feel for all you young people today because nothing seems to stay calm and happy. everything is very upheaval it seems. to many stresses these days. but, lots of times change can be good
like when i left my 4th hubby and got the 5th. love of my life. it wasnt easy but my last late hubby and the years i spent with him was worth it all and the happiest time of my life. so, at times change can be good. i sure hope it is for you

Big changes are scary but how exciting to have your life ahead of you and only you can decide where to from here. There are going to be new doors opening for you because it seems that when you sit on a difficult decision for a long time not knowing where to turn, once you decide and make a move it all changes and incredible things are bound to happen! You can do a skating routine with a partner with that Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland song . . . it'd be too cute!! I can picture it . . . under spotlight in costume from that decade!! The ice is one place where you can focus just on the ice . . . and forget about the outside world . . . sounds like your lake is too!! Does it ever freeze?

Hi, Sleeping Beauty, you are waking up. And happiness is not because of the handsome prince, he just makes a nice addition. You are on the right track, and things will resolve themselves. Hi dawn,
Thanks for the Mickey and Judy youtube, I enjoyed that, sometimes changes is very scary but also it is a good change, I know I've worn the T-shirt, but you see when you look at nature and all her beauty, you soon forget for a little while and just enjoy what is around you, makes you feel good.

I went for a long walk the other day, following my failure to clinch the deal. :) I realized that there are plenty of things in life that man has created, which are beautiful but which dont relax you as much as just looking at some tree or a shrub. I even discovered a weed that had leaves resembling the color of coleus. :) Love nature. :) So glad you can look at things positively Dawn.
