Opponents of Arizona's new anti-immigrant law are calling for a boycott of the state's products - including the popular Arizona Iced Tea.
The problem: Arizona Iced Tea is actually brewed in New York.
Online, misguided tea fans vowed to switch to Lipton or Snapple.
"Dear Arizona: If you don't change your immigration policy, I will have to stop drinking your enjoyable brand of iced tea," Twittered Jody Beth in Los Angeles.
"It is the drink of fascists," wrote Travis Nichols in Chicago.
The company did not return messages asking if they planned to set the public straight.
Founded in Brooklyn in 1992, the firm was based in Queens before moving into a new $35 million headquarters in Nassau County last year.
The new state law allows cops to demand citizenship papers from anyone they think looks illegal.

Wild-i can't b-lieve this. i took the pole on whether NY should have a say. i said "no." surprisingly, 86 percent said yes. you know what that means; the people voting still feel that way after reading the article! I think people have stopped thinking. I can't take the ignorance of america anymore.

California has a problem with overcrowding in their prisons and many want to boycott AZ over the immigration law. The problem is that CA has thousands of prisoners being housed in AZ Prisons. San Francisco has 2500 people employed by a company that is based in AZ and if they cancel all contracts with AZ they will put these 2500 people out of work.
I for one will not be spending my vacation time in California and may even take an extra trip to AZ just to spite these pinheads.

They replaced the Gatorade in the coolers with Arizona Ice Tea where my son works because it sells like crazy. I told him we are going to start buying it.
Someone doesn't know what fascist means. What a baffoon!

LOL! That's too funny! I guess it's just another case of a knee jerk reaction without taking the time to get a little information about the company you're boycotting. I'm sure Snapple's happy though.
