Do You have a Messianic Complex?

Well hello everyone
it's been a long time since i posted anything at all
been thinking quite a lot the past couple of days
and been depressed over letting people go in the company i work for
you just can't save everyone
One thing that springs to mind is what my boss used to tell me
"Chip, you have a messianic complex, it's good and bad at the same time"
so do you have a messianic complex?
usually this syndrome starts from being a control freak where every little detail has to be put into consideration. And then it leads to a goal where you want to be everyone's "savior"
All i really wanted was for those under me to still have jobs. So sue me for caring.
I still want to help everyone have better and productive lives which is my advocacy for 2010: help others.

I don't have a messianic complex, but I know someone who does. It's my mother. She tries to be everyone's hero in the family. This is not totally bad, but sometimes it really becomes so annoying because in her effort to save the family, she forgets that those she's helping are already old enough to think and do something about their problem.
