What do you know about aneurysm?

I have a friend who was diagnosed with an aneurysm in the brain. What is confusing is even if my friend has aneurysm the doctor still allow him to work. I don't know but for me putting much more stress might be bad, it might worsen the situation. What is your opinion on this?
