Two nights ago, there was an interesting sit in on Startup2Startup which is a setup by a group of Silicon Valley geeks, entrepreneurs, and investors dedicated to educating and helping the next generation of internet start ups.
Three former PayPal execs took the stage -Max Levchin, who co-founded PayPal and is now founder/CEO of Slide; Jeremy Stoppelman, who was PayPal’s VP of Engineering and is now the cofounder/CEO of Yelp; and David Sacks, who was PayPal’s COO and is now founder/CEO of both Yammer and Geni.
It is really amazing hearing what goes on behind the scenes in this reputable online payment processor and I just have to encourage all of you to view the embedded videos. It really is a learning experience for me and something really worth discussing.

you would be amazed to find out what is going on "behind the scenes" in a regular bank, a "physicall" one. No matter what reputation says, where there are lots of money involved, even more when it comes to online money, there are always suspicious things happening and influences and all sort of things. It s human nature:) Nobody can manage lots of cash without trying to "legally" or not have his own "cut".

drkraven,
I am sure of it from your response about the banks and other financial institutions, which everyone is already quite aware with whatever is happening in this current economic crisis. Which has really brought the world economy to its knees.
But, this revelation here is just astounding and quite appalling if you know what I mean.
