hi friends. i am pretty sure some of you might have no idea what the term spot fixing even means. so let me clear that first. usually match-fixing means,playing bad deliberatly an losing the match for money. spot-fixing is quite similar except it doesnt always change the course of the game. its like asking a bowler to bowl badly with wides,no balls and full tosses or asking a batsmen to waste an over. wondering why iam talking about this? actually during a certain county match in england,there has been allegations of match fixing against danish kaneria and another young fast bowler for bowling a very poor over and the board is investigating this. it is said spot-fixing allegations arise now because of the popularity of T 20 cricket. you dont even care what happens in an over in test match or odi match but each and every one of you watch the 120 balls and even use the bathroom only during breaks. so its pretty easy to bet on it in such a fast game. if we assume that spot-fixing happened in IPL,there has been lot of things from the over thisru perera bowled to tendulkar where he leaked 20 + runs to sehwag's weird way of getting out.lol
