Hi jotomy, I don’t think eating fruits on daily basis may lead to diabetic. But a diabetic person should take care to have fruits everyday. A diabetic person can take some kind of fruits everyday. In fact some fruits are helping to control the sugar level in blood. But fruit juice is not recommended for diabetic person. We are taking seasonal fruits which may be cheaper. Banana is available in all seasons and good for health if eat on daily basis. Now mangoes, water melon, musk melon etc are available in cheap rate.

I read in net, ‘fruits like Apple, jambul plum, Lemon, grape fruit etc are considered to be the best for diabetic patients as these fruits helps in cut down the excessive sugar from the body and that results in reducing the blood glucose levels’. There is a complete no to banana because it can rapidly increase the blood glucose level. Drinking lot of water and daily exercise can help.

hi jo, Fruits has many essential benefits for our body needs. It is rich in many nutrients and has phytochemical substances in fighting cancer agents that tend to increase our immune system. It can also a anti-dehydrating agent for the body. A good source of vitamins and alternative solution as to food be eaten for people who are in dietary requirements. I think being a diabetic has something to do from a genetic hereditary disorder. Fruits can help a diabetic person but not some fruits that has high contribution on their illness like mangoes, cherries and other sweety fruits. I eat fruits daily. I like apples, peaches, pears and many more to mention. It gives me many health benefits as well. Happy mylotting

I don't think fruits would lead to diabetes. I've read somewhere that fresh fruits are good and can even be used as replacement for sweet cravings of diabetics. What is not advised are fruit juices and dried fruits. As for me, I love to eat oranges and pomelos. I could eat 3 oranges or a pomelo in one sitting. I can't do that everyday though I wish I could.

I always make it sure to take fruits daily as it is the natural source of fibre which is a basic need of our body to keep us fit, It is recommended to take fruits in its original state and juice is not advisable if you can take fuit, in juice the fibre content get reduce and also we are not able to take the advantage of fruits in whole when taking it in form of juice, so try to take fruits directly to keep you healthy.

Yes, I eat fruits daily. I heard phrase "One apple a day keeps doctor away". So eating an apple a day is good idea unless your wife or husbend is not a doctor:) I eat bananas, apple, pineapples and watermelon most of the time and some seasonal fruits. Its good for health.

I want to eat fruits everyday. I always believe that fruits are good substitute especially if you dont get to eat a lot of vegetables. I am not sure though if fruits can make you diabetic cause my father is diabetic but the reason he got it is not because of fruits but because of drinking carbonated drinks everyday before. Now that he has diabetes, he also have lots of restrictions when it comes to eating fruits. He is no longer allowed but the doctor to eat as much as before.
