choking to get high

My nephew is ten years old and in the fourth grade. He had two friends who were suspended from school a few weeks ago for the very same thing; playing the choking game. I was introduced to the game when I in 6th grade on the playground during recess. The girls were choking each other until the they were dizzy. They also would hang upside down on the monkey bars for several minutes... their bodies would fall and they'd pass out! I thought they were NUTS and told on them... I of course, was not their friends anymore... By the time were in 8th grade, these same girls were pot-heads. I figure some personalities are always looking for the next high. so crazy!
