Losing your car keys...

Don't you hate it when this happens to you? I was freaking out because that's what happened to me a few weeks back. It was really annoying and frustrating because I couldn't use my own car. To add to that it's expensive to replace the keys. It's not one of those where you can just make a copy of from the local department store or whatever. You actually have to go to the car dealership to order a new one which is a major pain. So, I had to dish out a few hundred dollars for a new car key and what do you know...today I found my keys. It's a good thing now because I have an extra key but I could have used that money for something else.

I know the feeling. Well, actually, it's my husband who should know. I kept a key hanger(?? not sure if it's called a key hanger) near the door, what do you know, his keys are never hanging there. If I can collect a dollar every minute I spent looking for his car keys, I know I would be very rich.

Haha...I can understand that. Everyone in my house likes to put the keys in different places so it's a pain trying to find it sometimes. We all can't seem to agree on a certain place to put them.

My husband will not put the key in the designated place, period. I have tried different things. Like putting a small deep tray next to the TV, making the key hanger, etc. I have tried changing the places of the designated key place...nuh uh...doesn't work. Either it's in his trouser pocket (and they do fall out of it), or thrown down somewhere.

Argh. I know just how frustrated you are. My Mustang is the same way and I dropped one of the keys to it. So now we only have one key. Guess I should look into getting a replacement made. I just don't want to go through that expense. But I guess I am going to have to, otherwise what will happen if that one gets misplaced.

That's true. It is better to have a spare one just in case. Just make sure you don't misplace the spare one and you're good to go.
