Every Now and Then We Need A Break

I spent the whole night last night locked up. In my room. Away from everyone else. Well I posted on mylot and clicked on the sites I'm maintaining for my online earnings and then I put my phone on silent and shut off the world. It made me think of a lot of things like my career and where I want to take it to. Sometimes it's hard dealing with a lot of people and their unique qualities, some irritate you some make it easy for you And then there's your family, you love them but because you're dealing with a lot of things they just add to the noise the world has brought into your mind and then your significant other who you may or may not be married to who either likes what you're doing or not All this clutter in your life eventually bogs you down and you just want to be alone again alone without really having to severe ties So that's what I do... switch to hermit mode and shut off the world And now I'm back and everything's lighter Everything has a new perspective I called my girlfriend and apologized. Went down and greeted my dad, bors and cousin (too bad didn't see my sister cause she had already left) I'll see my agents later tonight and things'll be back to normal Everyone just needs to take a break every now and then

How true! When pressures seems so much to bear, I just close the bedroom door shut and sleep until the feeling past because I don't want people to see the old grumpy me. Don't want to bore them with my current problems because they already know about them. If only I could fast forward to better times ahead, I would!

I am so on the same page as you. My beau and I have 7 children and one step-child togethere. That is a total of 8 kids. He has demands, and wants and hollers alot about them and then there are the kids. Each and everyone of us has a need, want, attitude, and different personalities. I have been stressed out for about a year and a half and ready to walk off with my kids in tow. I am tired and stressed out and need a break. I would love to just get away. Go away for about 2 days and leave everyone here for a while. Just quiet and what ever I want to do. I get tired as everyone does of the stresses and headaches of everyday life. We try to manage but sometimes I am on overload. I agree with you totally. Maybe I will try that for a day. Just go and get away. Thanks for the pick me up. Thought I was the only one who felt this way.

I couldn´t agree with you more. A break allows us to get a little perspective on our lives and rest our emotions a little. Sometimes just a few minutes is enough, sometimes we need more. Sometimes it is good to combine a rest of the brain with a little physical exercise. A brisk walk is good, and enjoying the scenery draws your mind away from it´s day to day concerns.

Everyone needs a break once in a while. Sometimes I have the same feelings like you. I like to be seperated from evrybody, switch off my phone, and spend the time without talking to anybody. My husband won't understand this. He thinks in that stage I am mad at him. He asks me for the reason of me behaving like that. I try to make sure that nobody gets hurt because of my behaviour, but I want some time only for myself to have a break.

Uhm men aren't as understanding as women when it comes to these things so we'll probably be very bothered if this was done to us... whereas with you girls, we usually just say sorry and take you out to dinner and everyhing'll be fine hehehe such an unfair world eh?

We do need to take break from our routine line and need to cheer ourselves up. It is human nature that he gets bored with monotonous activities and needs something to rejuvenate himself.Taking a break from normal activities, going out for vacation or drive, going to a spa or beauty saloon or shopping are some of the things which can freshen our mind and we can start life afresh.

in order to function smoothly..we need to take a break from the humdrum of our every day life...it's like our body...we need to sleep at regular hours at night to fully function the next day.. just like you, i retreat from my usual world to somewhere quiet and serene..i listen to my breathing, read an inspiring book or watch mother nature at its best (like sunset and sunrise)..i shut off anything and anyone else from my mind..empty it literally..to refresh it..this is just for a couple of hours and then i'd resume my daily routine..with renewed vigor and determination..

Everyone get tired and stressed, because of that we deserve to have a break. It will help us to realize almost everything and think more correctly. Also, it will surely benefit our health.
