newsletter

Due to the nature of my site I currently don't use a newsletter but I plan to in the future when the scope of my site expands. There are a lot of benefits to using a newsletter most notably that people have to subscribe to it and therefore you have a direct list of names/ emails of those interested in your site, yet may not regularly return. If at some point you have your own product or affiliate product you want to promote you have the leverage of these newsletter subscribers to target alongside the general traffic to your site. It is also the case that whilst many people may be interested in your site they may not have the time to regularly check it out. By encorporating a newsletter which you send out regularly giving them a quick overview of what has been going on you are keeping your site in their mind and it will encourage them to return to read more if they spot something in your newsletter that interests them.
