I have been working at home since 2007 and I have done a lot of things to make extra cash online (PTP/PTR/PTC). My real job is a phone job and I am so tired of it. I am going to turn the spare time money into a real business. I have been reading up on any information I could find concerning tips & tricks for PT sites. The most important thing I have found is to be very organized. Keep track of your offers from your different groups and never click the same offer twice. I use excel spreadsheet to do this. I am slowly building up my earnings in each site that I am with. I have created a blog with my information concerning the places I have been paid at. I will jump into recruiting next. I am always skeptical about recruiting people to places that I have not cashed out with. I like to try the site, work on it and reach payout before recommending it. This makes my recruiting go very slowly. I have a blog up and running but I am also going to work on a Squidoo Lens as well. It takes dedication and it takes quite a bit of time but if you organize yourself and use the proper tools available I think it is very possible to turn this free extra money into a regular income. I am going to keep records and blog about my experiences of earning money from home and hopefully give newbies tips as well. Here are a few I have learned so far.
1.) Organization is the key. Keep track of the emails used and the sites that are associated with that email.
2.) More organization, for each offer you complete use a spread sheet to keep track of the company it was for, the site you completed the offer at, the rate of pay/points, how long it should take for the offer to credit & also if it has credited or not. If you are going to sign up for trial offers this also helps to let you know when you have to cancel the trial before they charge your cc.
3.) Use some sort of phone voice mail system. I found K7.net in my research. You can set up a free voice mail/fax system with them. I only use the voice mail and I think there might be a fee for the faxing. I use that number on my offers. None of those annoying calls coming to my home.
4.) Auto fill form applications. I found Roboform in my search but the free version only lets you save log in information & passwords. The upgraded version that costs $29.95 includes the auto form fill. After I start making good money at this I will probably invest in this upgrade.
5.)CCleaner to clean your files and cookies after each offer. CCleaner is free and can be downloaded. After completing an offer I normally submit it and run CCleaner to clear my machine.
Does anyone else have any tips and tricks for the new people out there???

I have been earning online for 10 years. Organization is very important. But, the most important thing is doing your research. You can find many discussions here at MyLot if you are just starting out. There are many helpful members who have been earning online for many years
Having your own domain website/blog is vital if you are taking your online earnings seriously. Also it is very important that you have very good anti-virus protection. I wish you luck with your continued online earnings

Thank you workingmom50! You are very correct that having your own domain/website/blog is vital. The good anti-virus protection is also a very important factor. Lots of places have free downloads for anyone wanting to have good protection but they don't have the funds. I am currently using Malawarebytes as well as SuperAntiSpyware (Professional Version). I update these often and run them several times per day.

Not yet, but that's why I came to read this discussion-I was hoping to find some that'll get me to my monthly desired income range. It's been slow and hard work but I'm determined to do it! Good post.

You should try Squidoo. Create a Squidoo Lens with all of your info. I have found that on searches about making money online quite a few lenses pop up.
