I have been having sooo much trouble w/my my internet service. I have it w/my phone co. which is Frontier, they stink!!!!Last sun . it was down till tues. When it came back on i had 226 emails, i was overwhelmed to say the least. I started in trying to answer all i could most of them were from mylot. I got a few done & the service went out again wed. & was off all day. When it came back on it had doubled up on my notifications.
. What a mess. I had to delete a bunch of things so if i did not answer some of your discussions, i'm sorry. I usually do respond to all discussions i get. Do u have trouble w/your service like this? I am really disgusted w/frontier.

I DON'T EXPECT A REPLY FROM YOU. HAVEN'T BEEN ON MUCH MYSELF THESE DAYS. TOO MUCH WORK AND NOT ENOUGH TIME. MY BLACKBERRY HAS BEEN GIVING TROUBLE AS IT GOT WET. LEFT IT OUTSIDE ON TABLE.
SO IAM LOST WITHOUT IT BUT GOT A GOOD TIP. SOMEONE TOLD ME TO TAKE OUT THE BATTERY WHEN I GO HOME AND PUT IT IN RICE AND THEN DRY THE INSTRUMENT WITH A HAIR DRYER. SO I AM GOING TO TRY THIS WHEN I GET HOME. EVIDENTLY THE RICE ABSORBS THE WATER AROUND THE BATTERY. GLAD THAT YO ARE ONLINE AGAIN. TAKE CARE AND BLESSINGS

Obviously your ISP made a big mess and I could not blame you for being so annoyed. But, you are not alone my dear. My ISP at home is making me mad as well. I've been getting very low speed so that at home I could hardly use the internet. I would rather just turn off the computer instead of wasting time waiting for the page to load. In fact so mad was I that I wrote an article in Hubpages about my rant about Smartbro. That way, more people will read and will avoid SmartBro. That is my way of getting even with them and also to save prospective customers from experiencing the same ordeal on this ISP. Thanks my friend for this post. At least I have a chance to warn fellow Filipinos about getting SmartBro (if they are not located in Manila).
For people in the Philippines who are planning to get SmartBro, Beware I hope you could read this first before you made a very big mistake.

Good morning & thanks for your response. I hope u helped some of the folks there by letting them know about Smartbro. It is very aggravating to be paying for something & not get the service u need & want.Frontier has always been a pain to. It is the only phone co. we have so they know they have u over a barrel. Our internet service is bundled with our cable. If we have cable, we have internet. It is expensive, but we've had little to no trouble.

Right now, I have over 3000 emails in my inbox. I have a really hard time keeping up. I especially get behind if we go on vacation. Even weekends get me behind because I don't do much online. I make all my money online, so it is important that I have access to emails. I understand how overwhelming it can be. Sometimes, I get to the point where I just delete everything.

I have my Internet service through my cable company and so far it has worked like a charm (knock on wood) but when I was using the phone company things like what happen to you happen to more times than I can count. Hang in there and it's understandable because things like that happens to the best of us. please don't worry and Take care.

I know how you fell my friend because when I was gone for that very long S-t-R-E-C-H I was lost because I had no contact with you all here a myLot. Let's pray that they get it worked out so you can do what you love to do.

I had a problem a few days ago, but it was with myLot, not my service. I didn't get notifications for about a day and then they all started coming in. By then I was way behind anyway from not getting online over the weekend.

I try very hard to respond to all my comments that I recieve and I have noticed that I have had comments made and I never received a notification either.

Hi Jo. so far, i can say that i've got the best internet service in the city if not the best in the country. i do not have downtime so far but there are some parts of the province, of the island that i cannot get a good signal. by the way, my modem is USB so i can get to connect anywhere where there is computer.
i still get numerous emails and most of them are coming from mylot, and i love it. but sometimes, if i get to monitor the site, the discussions, the comments, etc., i still notice that there are some notifications that come in late or do not come in at all.
do you mean that you had 226 emails and when the service came back, the same 226 emails came in again to your email program, your inbox?

bETTER NOT BRAG & U BETTER KNOCK ON SOME WOOD FOR GOOD LUCK, LOL THAT U DON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS W/YOURS. iT CAN BE A PAIN IN THE BUTTE, BELIEVE ME. I started deleteing the doubles so don't know how many i would had if i had just let them go on coming in. What a nightmare, lol. I hope they have it fixed now, haven't had any trouble for a couple of days, KNOCK ON WOOD.

sounds like when i lived in florida. all the equipment from that old tiny town must have been from the begining of internet
then to top it, it was dial-up. dial-up always sucks these days. on top of that, the weather was a factor. big windy, thunder rain storms, knocking out poles, and connections. almost daily
so glad im where it seldome goes off now. so sorry about that lady. maybe take some of your notifies off and then just go check for new discussions on your friends profiles, when they reply on one of yours. i do that all the time and it helps me keep up with the friends that count.@ANTIQUELADY (36440)

Hi Jo! I knew a lady that had service with Frontier and she had constant problems with her service. I do have issues sometimes when there is bad weather and I know it is a pain in the rear. Take care and hopefully they will do better for you

Good morning jen, I can certainly feel sorry w/the lady having frontier. They have always been a pain in the a## when it comes to doing anything. The phone co. is w/in spitting distance pratically of me but they want do anything to help u there. U have to call somewhere in new york for any kind of service problem. Now how dumb is that??

I knew I had been missing you on here a few days, Jo! I'm glad to see you back. My internet service is with at&t. In fact, I'm bundling with them and I never have had any problems with them that I remember. I know what it's like to not be able to get on the computer for a day or two and then come back and have so many emails and especially a lot of notifications from mylot. It really takes time to go through them all, doesn't it? When this happens to me, I just have to delete some of them, too.

We have been having trouble with phones here since the eathquake. I´m sure the company used the earthquake for it´s own interests.
Don´t worry about answering all mails: noone can. Check the ones that are more important and delete the rest. It would be a pity if having friends turned out to be a pain.
Your friends will understand. That´s what friends are for. As for this answer: "no not reply to this mail"
as it is said so often at the bottom of spams when you want to give them a piece of your mind.

Thanks, it's been driving me nuts. Yes, i had charter for awhile but didn't like their way of doing buisness. Every time i got a bill there would be a variance in it. Other people that had the very same plan i did , mine would always be a different price & i didn't like that. I didn't get good tech support either from them. Thanks for responding. I am also presently affected by the bad internet connection. Sometimes when I log in to any site it only show blank screen. Even mylot pages does not load properly and if it does, it will take ages and need to refresh frequently. I see some of my responses are doubled. Maybe there is problem with internet connections worldwide. I have another 2 weeks to be active here before I go MIA. So please don't write me off if I don't respond to your discussions as I will be on 3 months vacation in Australia and wouldn't know whether I can have a computer to use at my free will like I am doing now.
