My English in My Discussions vs The Content of My Discussions ?

India

I am very jealous . Not now but when I see the discussions started by my friends get over 30 responses and those compared to mine are 10 times larger . Many of my discussions only get 2 or 3 responses . But till now I don't know what has been the reason for it . Weather it is my English which is not attractive enough to lure responses or is it my discussions whose content fails to get responses . I am sure that if this discussion gets over 10 responses , then I am good at one of those two categories : either my English is attractive or my discussion has made the readers believe that it contains some matter . So just be truthful in saying weather my English has to be improved or should I look for more interesting topics while starting discussions .

'So just be truthful in saying weather my English has to be improved or should I look for more interesting topics while starting discussions' Your English is fine but you must communicate with those who respond or it is NOT a discussion, just a question with some answers. If yuou do not comment you do not earn from your discussions. You do not earn for the responses posted by others, they do. Soon you will be receiving very few responses because Lotters go back to those who comment on the responses that they leave because they want to DISCUSS. That is probaably why your friend is getting more results than you are. Think about all of the advice that you are receiving in the other responses too then STOP and go back to your previous dicsussions. You will be surprised at the results

My friend, on myLot we earn for what WE do, not for what others do. I type, I earn. YOU type, YOU earn - simple! If your discussion receives 100 responses, then you have 100 opportunities to earn on it by commenting to them. It is your choice. Those who posted them will earn for them, not you

So is it true that even if one of my discussion get 100 responses , I will not even receive even 1 cent if I don't comment on any of those responses ?

well your English seems to be ok and this discussion was at least interesting enough to get my attention I think alot of it may have to do with how many friends you have and who is online when you post it its not about how many responses you get anyway so just have fun and dont worry so much about how many responses you are getting versus how many your friends are getting

If you ask me, I respond to posts not because of the grammar or English but because of the topic. The topic or content must interest me first of all before I give my contribution. I do not care much about the grammar or English since I know that we're all in a hurry here so they can't be avoided.

So you say that the topics should be more attractive and different from the others . But I have seen that most mylotters respond to discussions with catchy headlines , for which my english has to be good , but it is not so .

I felt the same way as you and I really do questioned that previously. I guess the best thing to have more responses is to invite more friends because if you have a lot of mylot friends that many will be notified of the discussions that you've started and if it's really that interesting. You might probably have a lot. make discussions, something that all can't relate to it!

Well yes! It's really acceptable unlike some who are really not that good in their grammar and even the spelling is wrong. Yours was just fine

I think it is about the topics not so much with the content of the discussions. I understand that all of us came from different place with different way of expressing because of different language. I personally don't respond with the topic that I can't relate with. I mean the one that didn't affect me much. I don't want to respond for the sake of responding. It should be something that I experience with, so it would be easy to express my ideas and opinions. Sometimes I browsed the whole day but I can't find the topic that I am interested in.

When you don't find discussions of your interests , why don't just respond to some other discussions so that you will at least some money .

In which book did you see my english is good ?

Maybe your friend write better topics or maybe he writing this on better time where are more people. This happen too. I when writing some topics on night time I don't get answer. But subject of topic is important too. About your English I can say if is good or not because I'm not English and my is poor , so for my your English are very good
